Can I Take My Pets on Private Jets?
The quick answer is yes, you can take pets on private jets! The most common pets to travel by private aircraft are cats and dogs, but over the years we’ve seen a mixture of pets both large and small.
When travelling by private jet charter, the whole family can travel together, including your loved 4 legged members. Your pets may travel with you within the main cabin – a very different experience to a commercial flight, where they would normally be enclosed away from you in the hold.
Help Avoid Pet Travel Trauma
Most aircraft carriers will allow your pets to be loose in the aircraft cabin, whilst still retained on a leash. Although, depending on their size, some carriers prefer them in a comfortable portable travel cage, still in the main cabin. This avoids any potential traumatising travel if your pet is made to go in the aircraft hold. No human would like to travel like that, why would your pets?
It should be noted that there are certain criteria to follow and the information below should serve as a brief guide to help you plan and avoid any quarantine procedures on your return.
