The airport has two passenger terminals and has newly opened a separate private terminal for business aviation.

Rio de Janeiro-Santos Dumont Airport (SDU/SBRJ)
Being a smaller airport with a shorter runway, Santos Dumont Airport is primarily for domestic and business aviation flights. It is located just 8.5km/5 miles of downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Although it is the second airport serving the city, due to its size, it is limited to only 23 flights per hour. It does not have any separate facilities for business aviation but the airport provides discreet procedures for VIP passengers.
