ABOUT US – YOUR AIRCRAFT CHARTER TEAM
Adrian created Premier Aviation in 1994 and built the company’s solid and enduring reputation with his passion for aviation and the music industry.
His unequalled knowledge has been passed to the rest of the team over the years, testament to the longevity of the majority of the team members and a reflection of his unique leadership skills.
He has now taken a back seat and sits on various aviation boards as a consultant, whilst mentoring the newer members of the team.
Lizzy joined early in 1995 and helped to develop Premier as one of the leading go to broker companies for all things charter related in the touring industry.
Coming from a music industry background of record and management companies, Lizzy’s inside knowledge helped Premier’s understanding of the nuances of the touring business.
Now leading the team 24/7 she has taken over the mantle from Adrian, with her relentless attention to detail and going the extra mile to ensure clients have remained loyal.
Business Development Manager
An avid all-round music & live concerts fan, Paul has been immersed in the music industry for more than 20 years.
Working directly for major record labels, such as Sony Music Entertainment, Arista and A&M Records, he builds on a network of contacts to help develop new business for the charter team.
Senior Charter Broker
In 2017 Steph celebrated her 10th year with Premier, playing a huge part in maintaining Premier’s ethos with her commitment to maintaining long-term relationships with our clients.
She has worked in aviation for over 20 years and has amassed a vast knowledge across the industry.
Senior Charter Broker
Ian has been with Premier since April 2015 and has worked in the aviation industry since 1984.
An integral part of Premier Aviation, with his experience across the different sectors of the industry complementing the rest of the team, he is Premier’s go-to man for all the larger airliner conundrums, with infinite knowledge of airline configurations.
Senior Charter Broker
With an aviation career spanning more than 40 years, Paul is a much respected face in our industry, boasting an extensive global network of long standing business relationships. His considerable experience encompasses every aspect of aircraft charter, from broking and sales through to aircraft operations management and because of this, Paul brings a unique perspective of the association between the two.
During his career Paul has overseen a good many complex projects and is skilled at creating innovative, imaginative solutions to the most demanding itinerary, an attribute much sought by our clients.
Senior Charter Broker
A true music fan, fluent in Spanish with well over a decade of bespoke aviation experience, Roy brings intricate and detailed operations knowledge to the team.
Paul joined the Premier team in 2016, and coming straight from cabin crew service he knows first-hand the high standards expected in the air and on the ground.
Applying these values to the charters he looks after, meant a seamless integration into the team. Paul has built a keen knowledge and understanding of the aviation broking industry, and just as important – he brings a young person’s take on what is current on the music scene.
Flight Services Executive
Suzanne plays the all-important support role to the brokers, ensuring up-to-date information on airports is relayed to the team whilst flight watching and keeping an eye on all financial related matters.
She has worked within the Hunt & Palmer group since Oct 2010 and joined Premier in June 2016.
A Message from our Founder and Director
2020, A Challenging Year
2020 has turned into being a very challenging year for all industries and Lizzy and her team (Stephanie, Suzanne, Ian, Paul C, Paul K, Roy and Paul T) continue to rise to these challenges and I’d like to thank them all for their dedication and mutual support for each other.
Since the whole company runs on a 24h basis year-round, we are accustomed to working remotely with full technical resources and back up. Nevertheless, the Group’s IT department stepped up internal resources so that the whole organisation continues to operate seamlessly. Using the latest VR meetings software techniques all the teams are able to remain in constant contact and hold daily meetings.
With Premier’s traditional ‘core business’ of providing bespoke aircraft charter for international music tours and the entertainment industries, as you can imagine, it has been a very different summer for us. The impact of the COVID19 pandemic has been devastating for many of our clients who we would normally be out and about supporting at different airports along their tour charter itineraries. We truly empathise with the effect and suffering this has had on the hundreds of thousands of freelance crew and touring professionals worldwide.
Aircraft Charter Continues
Whilst the music tours and events have been postponed, Premier’s services for ad-hoc private aircraft charters have continued. Initially, this included helping to repatriate several clients who found themselves stuck on various continents, far from home, and since those early days, the need for our clients to travel has continued. For private individuals, artists or their families, senior industry executives, all these essential travel needs do still exist.
With airline services curtailed and the obvious aversion to travelling through public airport terminals and on commercial flights, many businesses and private individuals are turning to private aircraft charter for the first time and experiencing the benefits. With the ongoing concerns of ‘social distancing’ that certainly includes only travelling with healthy family and friends or those who you know are safe, increased guarantees of sanitisation both on the aircraft and through the private, small airport lounges (FBOs). It is going to be some while before we see commercial airline services ramping up again so Business Aviation is there to fill those gaps.
We operate in a global environment and Business Aviation has kept flying despite the many Government restrictions that change daily, which the team discuss every morning so all are up to date to deal with the next charter request. Whilst we all continue to come to terms with this extended ‘new normal’ we hope that the Premier team can be there for you when needed.
We look forward to a busy 2021 for everyone and hope you all remain healthy and safe.
