Countries Requiring Negative COVID-19 Test Certificates
Many more countries around the world are now requiring a negative COVID-19 test certificate to permit entry. To avoid or reduce quarantine time there are new testing stations appearing at UK airports.
In the south of England, two London-area airports already have these operating.
Biggin Hill Test Centre
London Biggin Hill Business Aviation gateway, in partnership with G16 Global Ltd., have clinicians on-site able to provide the most commonly required PCR test, with results usually within 24-48 hours, for passengers and crews. Also available is the 15-minute rapid-result antigen test. Tests are carried out in a dedicated facility known as the Mansi Suite or even onboard private aircraft, all very discreet and secure.
London Gatwick Test Centre
Meanwhile, London Gatwick airport, in partnership with Cignpost Diagnostics Ltd.’s ExpressTest division, has set up test facilities located in the Long Stay car park of the South Terminal for passengers, crews, airport staff and local residents, offering the PCR test. ExpressTest is hoping to expand this service to 30 further locations across the UK in due course.
